Dr. Ingrid Nelson ^[1] is Jesse Rigdway's therapist. She is a mentioned character throughout the videos prior to Psycho Family Therapy, her first major appearance captured on camera. Dr. Nelson is also mentioned multiple times afterwards too.

Biography

The Psycho Series

Dr. Nelson has been mentioned by Jesse a fair amount of times, including in videos such as Psycho Kid Torches Christmas Tree and Psycho Dad Buries Video Games.

She makes her most notable appearance in Psycho Family Therapy, hosting a therapy session at the Ridgway Residence with Jesse, Jeffrey Jr., Theresa, and Jeffrey Sr., in order to try and resolve the tensions between them. By the end of the session, she agrees with Jeffrey Sr.'s belief that Jesse should stop playing video games in order to end their conflict. This decision angers Jesse, who tries to argue that "gamers are normal people", although matters aren't helped by Jeffrey Jr., who grabs Jesse's Xbox 360 game collection and points out how many violent games are in it. After a conflict ensues between the family, Dr. Nelson leaves.

Ever since, Jesse has seemingly not went to any therapy sessions with her, however he attempts to call her in i'm a psychopath. in a state of panic, telling her he hears voices again and needs her help, however to no avail, she never responds.

Trivia

Dr. Nelson's face is not fully seen at any point during Psycho Family Therapy, as she was not comfortable with the idea of Jesse having Corn film the session, and only allowed it on the condition that her face could not be captured on film.
Apparently before the events of i'm a psychopath., Dr. Nelson was no longer practicing in New Jersey, according to Jesse. She was portrayed by Jesse's Aunt Robin.
